What Production Supplies
Production should supply the following:
- A copy of the latest script
- Daily sides
- Shotlist
- Call sheet
- Schedule
- Storyboards (commercials only, usually)
Ask for these first thing in the morning. Most productions will have these available to you in the production office, so go there to pick them up and introduce yourself to anyone you didn’t meet in prep. Some shorter jobs, as well as commercials, won’t have an all hands meeting, so you’ll be meeting a whole new group of people on day one of production.
Once you get into a rhythm on set, someone might bring you a copy of the sides, call sheet, and shot list for the day regularly. Look for a key set PA or director’s assistant to have these items waiting for you.

Hey Emilio, glad to hear you’re learning a lot with the course. Sorry for the technical issue in regards to the essential supply videos. I’ll let my IT guy know and get it up and running for you as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience on this!
